The Heart-Wall: An Emotional Phenomenon
Dr. Bradley Nelson Shares His Insights
When we experience negativity, whether it be from a traumatic event or chronic abuse, our subconscious mind works diligently to protect us by building a wall around the heart, known as a heart-wall. While this heart-wall may be necessary to survive at the time, it keeps us from living a full and vibrant life. With mindfulness and time, you can discover and eliminate your heart-wall and find heart-wall healing.
What Is a Heart-Wall?
A heart-wall is a safety measure. It is a virtual security system installed by your subconscious that keeps toxic, intruding negativity out and allows you to survive. Although it serves a purpose, it should only be there temporarily.
While a heart-wall is not an actual physical barrier around your heart, it is built with “materials” that are very real to your subconscious. The “material” used can be reflective of the event that
These heart-wall materials are subconscious manifestations of energy being used to defend yourself and your emotions. You are using your own energy to keep yourself safe and help you function through a difficult time.
Can you think back to a time in your life when you felt like your heart was going to break? When you felt so grief-stricken or hurt that you didn’t think you could stand it? You may have felt as if an elephant were sitting on your chest, or that you couldn’t breathe. Unfortunately, these feelings that we often refer to as heartache or heartbreak are quite universal, as there seem to be words that describe these physical sensations in every language around the world.
A heart-wall can be an emotional prison. Until you find it and release the trapped emotions, you will go through life somewhat like a zombie. You are moving, you are surviving, but you are definitely not living.
If you are at all frustrated with your love life, your social life or the level of financial abundance, a Heart-Wall may be a big piece of the puzzle. Approximately 93% of people suffer from this phenomenon, so you are not alone.
When you are ready to tear down that heart-wall, it happens through The Emotion Code healing process of releasing the trapped emotions. Sometimes this can be done all at one time, while other times it may take a series of sessions over a number of days or weeks.
